Residential children's home
Every day, 90 children are taken into care across the UK. The most vulnerable members of our society are being failed by a system that leaves them with very limited life chances and poor outcomes. We exist because every child has a right to grow in a supportive and caring environment. We support children who are in local authority care and young people who are leaving care and transitioning to independence by providing high quality accommodation and positive life experiences.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Raise House Limited is a residential children's home inspired by the life of Raymond Christopher Collett and his experience of being a child in care in the UK. Our Children’s home was set up in his memory to provide a family environment for three children and young people between the ages of 11-18 to be cared for and supported. Through our high quality accommodation service, we work to improve the life chances of both males and females with social, emotional and behavioural needs. Operating fifty-two weeks of the year, we also meet the needs of those who require a period of intensive support, with a high level of personalised care.

Provide a supportive and caring home environment and protect the safety, welfare, and well-being of children and young people in our care
Improve the educational, aspirational and social opportunities for the children and young people in our care
Support their ability to acquire the necessary skills to live independently and participate fully in society after leaving our care

Raise House was awarded a 'Good' Ofsted rating for a second year in a row. Congratulations to the team and well done to all of our young people, who continue to be our inspiration.
REFERRALS
We are always keen to hear from colleagues who are looking for a placement and a potential referral to Raise House.
We have a rapid and robust matching process to ensure that we meet the needs of our commissioners and young people.
We accept both planned and emergency placements and work closely with placement teams to ensure a smooth transition into our high quality home.
